There are so many people in life that can hurt you and because they are not perfect, you need to have an understanding that they are human just like you are. In fact, keeping a distance reduces the urge of taking revenge.

Be careful about what you say when you are mad. It is just human to remember that what you say cannot come back to you; once words are out, they are out. If you cannot speak something positive to someone when you are mad, the best thing to do would be to have a moment of silence until you are sure you are not angry any more.

You will obviously find yourself talking too much when you are not in your best moods. Watch out what you say, but if you cannot really measure your words, keep quiet and only speak when you have cooled off. You may actually something that will hurt someone and you may end up regretting later. It is easy to get sidetracked when you are mad and in that case the best thing to do would be to be very careful about what to say.
